Member Web Interface (E-Services)

The MMS system provides a Web interface for users to view and edit some of their personal details. This interface is known as E-Services, and provides the following functionality:

  • Edit the member’s personal details
  • Make online payments (via Credit card)
  • Enable Automatic Payments
  • Purchase Additional Data
  • Print out invoices and payment receipts
  • View Usage Details

This Website is secured (HTTPS) and members are required to provide their login name and password to access the site.

Editing Member's Details

Members may use this website in order to edit any of the following details: · Residential Address · Postal Address · Home Phone Number · Business Phone Number · Mobile Phone Number · Fax Number · ABN Number

Making Online Payments

Members can use the E-Services site to make payment for any outstanding billings that they have on their account. The site will display a summary of all of the outstanding billings, and allow the user to enter credit card details, which will be used to process a transaction via the HavEComm gateway (See Below). The member will be given an instant response as to the success or failure of the transaction.

Enable Automatic Payments

While making an online credit card payment, the member has the option to enable the automated payment feature of the MMS System. All the member need do is click on a check box when making an online payment, and their credit card details will then be stored in encrypted format in a database. Any time a new billing is created, a payment will be processed and their credit card will automatically be charged the appropriate amount.

Purchasing Additional Data

Members that have profiles that have download limits may use the E-Services website to purchase additional data. This will prevent the member’s service from being interrupted should they exceed their download limit. Should the member exceed their download limit, they will still be able access the E-Services page to purchase additional data.

Any additional data purchased by the member will only be used once they have reached the limit of their monthly usage.

Invoices and Payment Transactions

This section will display to the member, in chronological order, every billing and payment of the member’s account. The member can then click on individual items to produce and invoice (for billings) or payment receipt (for payments).

See Figure 6 for an example of an invoice.

Viewing Usage Details

Members that have profiles that have download limits may use the E-Services website to view their internet usage. Usage details are displayed to the member in a graphical format. The first graph to be displayed to the member is the Monthly usage Graph (See Figure 7). This graph shows the usage per month, for the last 12 months.
